For Students

OUSD’s KDOL TV and the Media Enterprise Alliance, a local non-profit, are offering accredited East Bay ROP courses in Digital Video Production. The program is open to high school students across the District and throughout Alameda County. The KDOL program will give students a chance to explore the field of video production, while gaining hands on experience that will help them build a portfolio and launch a career.

•Learn from award-winning industry professionals, UC Berkeley School of Journalism and Haas Business school students, while doing hands-on work with your peers!

• You’ll earn high school credits, get a jump start on your future career dreams, and tell the world about Oakland’s youth with the videos you produce and we air on KDOL TV, Channel 27.

There is no deadline for applications, but enrollment will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the class is filled, applicants will be placed on a waiting list. Applications are now being accepted for the 2011-12 School Year.
